Sacramento Gamers Expo 2021 - A Review Fair Game Video Games

Sacramento Gamers Expo 2021

Every year video games seem to become more and more mainstream. Games like Pokemon and Zelda have continued to entice the imagination of today’s youth, while the sparking the nostalgia of yesterday’s youth (Todays Adults) keep them coming back for more.

One of the ways we gamers like to celebrate this is with conventions. Conventions allow a large groups of people to come together and not only celebrate their games, but relieve memories and create new memories with the next generation.

Social media has made organizing events like this much easier and Youtube has brought little known games (often referred to as Hidden gems) to the masses. Some of these Youtube personalities were on hand this past weekend at Sacramento Gamers Expo; John Riggs friend of Fair Game Retro was even
lucky enough to snag a BOXED but unopened PSP GO from us, so be on the lookout for his latest video “Why buy a PSP GO in 2022”

We also had some in depth conversations with Pat The NES Punk, Youtube sensation and author of Ultimate Nintendo - Guide to the NES Library & Ultimate Super Nintendo - Guide to the SNES library . Always having your interest in our minds Fair Game Retro was able to acquire a very limited supply of these signed personally by Pat himself, you wont be able to get these online but visit our store or call to reserve your copy today!

Speaking of mainstream, Edward Payson Director of the video game film Rarity: Retro Video Game Collecting in the Modern Era was also eagerly shopping the Fair Game booth and picked up a copy of QuackShot for Sega Genesis as it just turned 30 years old.
